My Oma and Opa

My Oma's a"h yor tzeit is this coming Tuesday night (the 16th of Shevat). This picture was taken a number of years ago at Yaakov's bar mitzvah atR' Balknay's school.

This past shabbos Ronnie and Bruchie hosted a kiddush in honor of the birth of the latest little Goldie to Yaakov and Rachel. May she and the rest of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren be a testament to her grace, nobility of character and the yiddishe house she built.

I will try and recap any "epes a yiddishe vort" that is said at the Yor Tzeit seuda.

Family update and Mazal Tovs

Been a while since the last post.

First, Mazal Tov to Yaakov and Rachel on the birth of Goldie, may they see much nachas from her.


Mazal Tov to Esther and Eli on the birth of a baby girl. May they see much nachas from her and from the rest of their children.
